Isabel and Diego: We Know So Little
Isabel and Diego have been friends for more than 20 years. They both have master’s degrees, yet if you talk to one of them for more than 5 minutes, you might wonder, “This person seems to be a highly functioning adult yet doesn’t understand how some basic things work.” Isabel and Diego will have a bowl with slips of paper with common-sense topics on them (e.g., how electricity works or when the US formally became an independent country). The audience will pick one topic out of the bowl, and Isabel and Diego will use the topic as a get for a scene. The scene will be like a mini TED talk on the subject, and will run for 1-3 minutes, and then the audience will pick another topic from the bowl. After the first two rounds, the Isabel and Diego will ask the audience if they have any suggestions of topics themselves for subsequent rounds of scenes. (Isabel Galbraith, Diego Hernandez)
