Racial Injustice and Community Support

As a country, community, and a theater, civil rights should be an easy thing to agree upon and support. Dojo Comedy stands with Black Lives Matter in their fight against discrimination and intolerance, as well as with their fight for freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the right to peacefully assemble.

Dojo stands with the protestors.

As we process the weight of recent and historic events, here’s a few local and national organizations to follow, learn from, and donate to:

Black Lives Matter DC

NAACP

DC Legal Support Fund

Southern Poverty Law Center

Black-owned businesses in DC to support.

We’re here to listen to the members of our community about ways to better support you. All questions, thoughts, and suggestions can be directed to Murphy McHugh.
